Rise has several openings for positions on our 2023-2024 Board of Directors.  Becoming involved with the Board is a great way to serve our community and use your time and skills to make a difference in the lives of local families affected by domestic violence.  The Rise board consists of 11-19 members from a variety of professions, all of whom are volunteers passionate about our mission and values.  The board meets in person on the second Thursday of every month.  Board members are also expected to serve on at least one committee, which meet periodically when issues arise.  If elected to the board, the term will run for three years, from April 2023 to March 2026.

We will accept applications through the month of January, conduct interviews in February, and will vote on new members in March.  New board members will attend an orientation and their first board meeting in April 2023.
