Take Me Out to the Ballgame: Binghamton Rumble Ponies vs. Fightin Phils

Join Rise at the Binghamton Rumble Ponies game on July 15th to raise awareness about domestic violence while enjoying some minor league baseball! Rise will be tabling, collecting donations and raffling off a Joe Torre autographed baseball before the game. Tickets are on sale for $9 and are available at Rise.

40th Anniversary Fundraiser: Party Like It's 1979

Join Rise as we celebrate our 40th anniversary with an unforgettable 1970s themed bash with food and dancing! Come dressed in your best catsuit or satin polyester bell bottoms to dance the night away under the disco ball. The ticket price includes an appetizer, snack foods, and a drink ticket. What is domestic violence?

Domestic Violence is a pattern of coercive behavior. This pattern can include abuse of various sorts of one family member by another including:

Perpetrators of domestic violence have a goal to establish and maintain power and control over their partners and/or other family members.

This violence affects people in every racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic group and includes people of all ages who have lived together or who have had an intimate relationship.

Domestic violence often escalates in severity and frequency over time and can have serious health and psychological ramifications.
